Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and AfterSold ("we," "us") covering every AfterSold product: family card plans, the Year Plan, the Santa Letter, and our business plans for real estate agents and dealers (Hello Again, Keep In Touch, Never Forgotten, AfterSold Letters, and the Closing Concierge and Local History add-ons). By placing an order you agree to them.

What we do

AfterSold writes, prints, and mails physical cards and letters to the people on your list, signed in your name and scheduled around the dates you give us. You direct the mailings; we produce and send them. Because every piece is made to order, the service depends on the accuracy of the names, addresses, and dates you provide.

Billing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe in U.S. dollars. Monthly plans renew automatically each month, and annual plans renew automatically each year, until you cancel. The Santa Letter, Closing Concierge, and Local History gift are one-time charges — no subscription. Where an annual price is offered, it equals ten months of the monthly price (two months free).

The Hello Again introductory offer gives new customers their first month for $19 (applied at checkout with code HELLO19); from the second month the plan renews at the regular $79/mo. One introductory month per customer.

Cancelling

There are no contracts. Cancel anytime by emailing support@getaftersold.com from your account email — one email is enough. Cancellation stops your next renewal and any unsent mailings; whatever has already been mailed stays mailed. Annual plans cancelled mid-term keep running until the end of the paid year unless you ask us to stop mailings sooner.

Our guarantees

Love-It Guarantee (family plans). If your first mailing doesn't make you smile, reply to your receipt within 30 days of that first mailing and we'll refund that month's payment.

30-day business guarantee. If a business plan isn't right for you in your first 30 days, cancel and we'll refund your first month — no questions asked.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Beyond these guarantees, payments for periods already mailed are non-refundable, though we'll always try to make things right — just write to us.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to give us the recipient details you provide and that recipients would reasonably welcome personal mail from you. You agree not to use AfterSold to send anything unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or hateful; we may decline or cancel content of that kind (with a refund for anything unsent). You authorize us to sign mailings in your name as part of the service.

Delivery

Mailings travel by USPS. We schedule production so pieces arrive on or before the occasion, and Santa letters are mailed to arrive before Christmas when ordered by the cutoff shown on the Santa Letter page — but once a piece is in the postal stream, delivery dates are in USPS's hands, not ours. If a piece is lost or mangled in the mail, tell us and we'll remail it at no charge.

Content and ownership

Our card designs, letter templates, and website are our intellectual property. The personal details and messages you provide remain yours; you license us to use them solely to produce and mail your pieces.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for a missed occasion caused by postal delays or inaccurate recipient details.

Changes and contact
